Samaritan Medical Center, San Jose, California, was updating their building to attain a fresher look. The medical center chose One Workplace for the design, who partnered with SpaceWorks for high density storage. SpaceWorks had to satisfy several requirements. The shelving had to fit HIPAA requirements for patient confidentiality. Due to location, earthquake possibilities created a requirement to meet seismic zone codes. SpaceWorks sent specs for their System III high density shelving units to One Workplace. Modifications were made until the ideal solution was formulated. The result was ten units of high density mobile shelving to increase storage capabilities while sparing floor space. Samaritan Medical Center was completely satisfied with the new and improved shelving units. The installation went according to plan and met all requirements while surpassing expectations.
