National City Corporation (NCC) in Cleveland, Ohio ran out of space in its existing stationary shelf filing room. NCC had no room to add additional shelving units and wanted to make existing units mobile to reclaim space and maximize the storage capacity of their existing footprint. Ohio Desk contacted SpaceWorks to see if we could put existing shelving units on our carriages, which SpaceWorks is able to do. Spence sent the dimensions of the room and number of units to SpaceWorks for a drawing and quotation. SpaceWorks provided a professional CAD rendering of the layout of NCC’s storage room complete with the mobile filing units. The SpaceWorks installation team completed the installation on the job earlier than the three week deadline that NCC required. NCC was pleased with the final product and, in turn, plans to make the remainder of its shelving mobile. Ohio Desk and SpaceWorks should be awarded that project as well as all of NCC’s future high-density business.
