Custer Workplace Interiors, a Steelcase dealer, was relocating to an existing building in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. The move affirmed their commitment to downtown Grand Rapids, while the new facility had a purpose to reflect their avenue of capabilities. Custer’s pre-existing vault could have been deemed wasted space due to its very confined area. The vault’s permanent existence created no other option but to see the potential of turning wasted space into an innovative example of Custer’s capabilities. SpaceWorks System III High Density Mobile Shelving Units would maximize the vault space to store files and related materials. Custer achieved their new image of a modern and competitive dealer through their new building and its furnishings.
